The day after we arrived in Grenada we set off to do our first in-county immersion experience - home visits.  We traveled to the town of Saint Marks and visited patients in their homes.  While in their homes we were able to talk to the patients, take their blood pressure and blood glucose, and perform and teach breast exams.

I really enjoyed this experience because getting see patients in their own environments was much different than seeing them in a hospital or clinic.  They were so open with us and receptive to the information we had to present to them on nutrition, and women, and men's health.
